For this brief we had to each also create a commemorative plaque either etched or laser cut on ply wood or acrylic plastic. After finishing the line drawings for the comic I then took the drawings into Adobe illustrator to image trace them to improve the quality before adding tones of grey for depth, borders to seperate the images and text to the speech bubbles. Studio Futures Past: Project 1 Activism, Illustration Ideas, protest development and rough storyboards

Upon completing my lino concept and being unsatisfied with the outcome I decided to think more about what it is that I want from my dissertation subject and how this can integrate into my studio project. I decided it could be a good idea to create a narrative of my own in the form of illustrations relating to the tensions between the North Korea and the US and when talking with friends about this we joked about how Donald Trump is in a nut shell an internet troll.
