After finishing my concepts for The Road posters I started putting down some ideas for what I could create for my Day of the Triffids posters. After looking at these different options I had a meeting with my tutor to discuss what I was thinking for my FMP. I got some good feedback and was recommended to watch the documentary HyperNormalisation. My teacher also told me it would be okay to create a campaign about many social issues and that I don’t have to narrow it down to one. although this advice was good my brain was still very scattered and I was getting pretty worried that my FMP would end up being a great big flop.
I was still very unsure at this point and getting worried about what to create for my FMP I made abnother “very useful” list of what I felt I was most experienced in from my time at uni. To help me consider what I wanted from my portfolio and website I made some quick mind maps to get down some ideas of what I want from my website and portfolio. I thought that with the website the most crucial aspects of it are that it’s easy to navigate and informative enough without having large paragraphs of text to sift through. I also thought back about the website for Browns Studio and how they had a sideways scroll and for me this simple difference helped the website to stand out to me a lot.
