The Impression Studio has been assigned it’s latest project for the CASS Summer Show exhibition. Impression Studio have been asked to create the show catalogue. The catalogue is to be made up of A3 Riso Printed pages that can be taken apart and re-ordered to create siginage for each studio in visual communication.
To begin the project studio members were asked to visit the artists book archive at the university to see how they could influence our catalogue.
I enjoyed looking at this book General Schmuck from 1974 that showed some good images and layouts that could be replicated with a riso printer.
I also found an interesting book using just 2 colours in the same way we planned in the studio.
