Creative Industry Practice, Pastiche 1560: Rough transitions/ Storyboards

Before starting my video I needed to create some rough storyboards to help give the idea a loose structure to be built on. I started off by roughly drawing some of the panels for the beginning of the video. These were just initial ideas that I wanted to get on paper to work from. The idea for the beginning was for the individual pieces to move onto screen and form the figure.

It was at this point aswell I was thinking about how the text could be animated on screen.

I also knew early on that I wanted to include some bold black lines to emulate Malikas style but I looked at a few different ways to try and get an idea of what the simplest approach would be.

After getting a general idea of how I wanted the video to go I made a more refined story board and then began shooting the stop motion footage.
